Re: Is there anyone here this is a very quiet Tribe!
Thu, February 16, 2006 - 6:58 AMThere's stuff happening, but nobody's talking. Dancers from both the Ananka Dance Company and Tanjora are preparing for their Rogue Performance Festival shows, and there are other events coming up as well.
I keep hoping somebody will say something...but...
SO SOMEBODY SAY SOMETHING!
;)
Hi Seneca. Welcome to the very quiet bellydance tribe. -

And then....
Tanjora will appear at Rakkasah, I believe, on Sat. the 25th of March at around 8 p.m....
Ananka will perform at Vintage at CSU Fresno on April 23...
There's other stuff, but you get the idea. Hit those two web sites and look at the 'news' links to see what these groups are doing.

Re: Is there anyone here this is a very quiet Tribe!
Sat, February 18, 2006 - 11:48 AMThanks Joy, for posting that!
I've been out of the loop cause my computer is lame and I haven't been able to get on tribe since the first of the year. I guess they did some upgrades that my antiquated browser can't handle.
So yeah, our shows are listed above. We'll be at the Tulare Ren Faire in Visalia the weekend of April 29th too.... but that's kind of a different thing..
; )
I kind of like the "Celebration of Ishtar" better than the return of... Oh well, too late, the flyers are printed already. But the show is kind of both....
: D
If anyone wants to distrubute flyers for the show, message me your address and I will get them out to you next week. We got some spiffy full color ones made that should be arriving any second now.
Hey, I just remembered something else that is going on - the Fire Mystics will be at the Full Circle Brewery on March 9th, doing their hot stuff!!!
I think their website is www.firemystics.com, but it could be www.firemystics.net
Try both and see which one is right!
Doh!
Okay, off to see what's going on on the Tanjora tribe.....
